At St George’s Tower, we are proud to offer premium and deluxe student studios in Leicester for both 44 and 51-week tenancies with all utility bills and broadband included in the rent.

Our flats are designed with students in mind. They boast a fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining area, cosy bedroom, sleek bathroom, dedicated study space, and handy under-bed storage.

From the kitchen to the bedroom, each corner of your studio is adorned with top-notch amenities, so you don’t have to worry about shopping for essentials. Everything you need is already here, patiently awaiting your arrival!

When your family and friends from home visit, you can impress them with our incredible curb appeal. St George’s Tower is home to Europe’s tallest street art, celebrating Leicester’s heritage, from our beloved sports teams to our scientific discoveries. The vibrant artwork completely covers one face of our 82m tower and can be seen from miles away.

Our student accommodation in Leicester is a comfortable walk to the University of Leicester (18 minutes) and De Montfort University (10 minutes).

By far the largest at St George’s Tower, you can expect a spacious and comfortable room. They feature a private en-suite, kitchen and a three-quarter bed.

Premium Studio

£168 per week (24/25)

These generously sized studios contain productive study spaces and great views of the city. With a kitchenette, breakfast bar and your own en-suite, student living is made easy.

Reach Leicester’s vibrant nightlife on foot from St George’s Tower to take advantage of the lively bars, pubs and clubs across the city. During the day, you can find a range of retail stores, boutique shops, and big brands at the Highcross Shopping Centre. Whether you want to hang out at quaint coffee shops, go to escape rooms with your mates or feast on mouthwatering curries on the Golden Mile, Leicester has it all.

Travelling and returning home is also easy, as the central train station is just around the corner from the accommodation, offering links up and down the country. There’s also the recently revamped St Margaret’s bus station in the city centre, with regular services to the surrounding towns and village so you can truly explore our beautiful county and experience everything Leicestershire has to offer. National Express coaches run through the station too, giving you an extra option for reaching your home city or exploring wider parts of the country like a day trip to London or Manchester.

Are your studios dual occupancy?

No, we only offer single occupancy accommodation.

What's the difference between a Premium and Deluxe studio?

Both studio types have the same facilities, furnishings, and fittings. Deluxe studios are 2-3 m2 larger than Premium studios, and because they’re located on the corners of the building, they have dual-aspect windows.

What's included in the rent?

The rent includes energy costs, fast Wi-Fi, bike storage, 24/7 security and CCTV.

There’s also access to a student common room with a large TV and video gaming, a games room, and a quiet study room.

These rooms are open to residents from 6 pm to midnight.

Please note that insurance for personal possessions is not included, so we strongly advise that you take out your own policy.

How long are your tenancies?

We offer 44 and 51 week tenancies. Other durations can be considered, so please ask.

Is St George's Tower safe and secure?

Yes, our student accommodation is completely safe, with 24/7 security and CCTV. The rooms start on the 13th floor of the tower, so there is no chance of anyone breaking in from the outside.

Is there a laundry?

Yes, there is a modern laundry at our student accommodation. It’s a cashless system that uses a phone app to activate the machines. Students transfer funds into the app using credit cards or PayPal.

Are any studios wheelchair-accessible?

We have two studios which are fully configured as accessible rooms, and the rent is at the Premium rate.

How fast is the Wi-Fi?

It’s 100Mbps download speed.

Is there somewhere I can store my bike?

Yes, we have a secure bike store.

Do you offer gym facilities?

There’s a large branch of Pure Gym onsite which offers low rates for students and is open 24/7.

Can we have pets in our rooms?

For reasons of animal welfare and practicality we don’t allow pets.

Is there student car parking?

No, unfortunately we are not able to offer student parking at the accommodation. However, there is paid public parking nearby.
