Moving to university can be really exciting as an LGBT+ student, it’s a chance for self exploration where you can find your crowd —the people who accept and celebrate you for who you are. This can be especially true if you are moving from a small town or village to a diverse city like Leicester or even from a country that isn’t as progressive in terms of LGBT+ rights and acceptance.
